The TTR3XX Series of three-phase transformer turns ratio test sets is designed to measure the turns ratio of power, instrument, and distribution transformers in a substation or manufacturing environment. A rugged and robust design makes these instruments well suited for use in a variety of harsh environments. Our leads are specially designed to provide the necessary flexibility needed in cold weather. The TTR3XX Series is ideal for use by power transformer manufacturers. Their unique testing procedures and storage capability allow an operator to set up and test difficult three-phase transformers (with multiple tap changers and bushing CTs) in a fraction of the time than it used to take with other TTRs. This test also includes a pass/fail limit of individual ratios. The TTR3XX Series also measures the phase deviation of the transformer primary versus secondary. This quickly indicates problems in the transformer such as partially shorted turns and core faults. This measurement is also useful in verifying phase errors in all types of PTs and CTs.The TTR300 comes equipped with a remote control switch for single-person testing. This allows the operator to test transformers with LTCs very quickly. The Series consists of three instruments: TTR310E The most popular in the series, this unit features an easy-to-read, transflective color display that can be seen in bright sunlight and provides the user interface for instrument set-up and test operation. The unit comes complete with the software application, PowerDB LITE. The TTR310E has the ability to store test results and upload results to a PC (via RS232 serial port, Ethernet, or USB). Some of the features of the TTR310E consist of:n Fully automatic operation (either stand-alone or remote-control)n Built-in capability for storing test results into internal memory in an open data format for direct input into Excel®or XML format via Power DB LITE

The Megger TTR25-1 is an automatic hand-held battery-operated transformer turns ratio test set. It is used to measure the turns ratio, excitation current, and polarity of windings in single- and three-phase distribution and power transformers (tested phase by phase), potential & current transformers, and tapped transformers. The unique design of the TTR25-1 allows the user to operate the test set while holding it in one hand. It effectively eliminates the user from having to kneel or bend down to operate the instrument and speeds up testing time. Realizing the extreme environments in which the TTR25-1 must operate, special attention has been paid to making it extra rugged, with a high impact, shock resistant case, yet incredibly lightweight at a mere 870 g (1.9 lbs). Its design makes this instrument well suited for use in a variety of harsh environments. The TTR25-1 is particularly suited for testing in substations, transformer-manufacturing environments, and meter shops. It features a high-contrast, backlit LCD screen that can be seen in bright or ambient light. This unit measures a high turn ratio of 20,000:1 accurately with the lowest excitation voltage. It is designed for simple, one-button operation with the measured results displayed directly on the easy-to-read LCD. The TTR25-1 needs no additional software and comes ready to use to complete the box. application's proper operation of a transformer relies almost entirely on the electrical properties of its windings. To ensure continued proper operation, transformers are tested to verify that their electrical properties have not changed from design specifications. ATTR is an extremely useful instrument for testing transformer windings because it can help locate several types of problems within single- and three-phase transformers. This type of TTR is best suited for power transformers up to 1 MVA. It is used to determine the no-load accuracy of CTs and PTs and also determine the need to further test faulty CTs and PTs. The TTR25-1 applies voltage to the high-voltage winding of a transformer and accurately measures the resulting voltage from the low voltage winding. The ratio of voltages is directly proportional to the turn ratio. In addition, the unit measures excitation current and polarity.

The Megger TTR100-1 is an automatic handheld, battery-operated transformer turns ratio test set used to measure the turns ratio, excitation current, phase displacement, dc resistance, and polarity of windings in single- and three-phase distribution transformers (tested phase by phase), potential & current transformers, and tapped transformers. Deviations in the mentioned measurements will quickly indicate problems in transformer windings or in the magnetic core circuits. The unique design of the TTR100-1 allows the user to operate the test set while holding it in one hand. Realizing the extreme environments in which the TTR100-1 must operate, special attention has been paid to making it extra rugged, with a high impact, shock resistant case, yet incredibly lightweight at 3.3 lb. (1.5 kg). It weighs less than any other commercially available instrument on the market. Its rugged and robust design makes this instrument well suited for use in a variety of harsh environments. The TTR100-1 is particularly suited for testing in substations and transformer-manufacturing environments where testing single and three-phase transformers can be performed. The TTR100-1 provides reliable results, helping the user in determining the condition of the transformer under test. It features a high contrast LCD screen which can be seen in bright or ambient light. The TTR100-1 and its lead set utilize a metal connection on both the instrument end and lead. This enhanced feature makes the instrument much more robust, improving reliability even under the harshest conditions. This unit measures the highest turns ratio in the industry with an accuracy of 0.2% or better and with the lowest excitation voltage. Another excellent feature of this TTR is the ability to accurately measure phase deviation (in minutes or centiradians) of the transformer primary versus secondary. This measurement is also useful in verifying phase errors in PTs and CTs. The TTR100-1 features special software capabilities. It comes equipped with sufficient onboard memory to store up to 200 test results (including test report header information) in the field for later retrieval, as well as 100 user-defined transformer settings. Test results can be downloaded to a PC. Identification of individual test readings is also easily done. The system software allows entry of the transformer alphanumeric serial number, transformer type, and tap information (numerical, alphabetical, or alpha-numerical) for each test performed. The TTR100-1 comes with a Windows® based software program that permits the download of test data from the instrument to a PC database. Data stored in the database can be retrieved at a later date and test reports can be printed to assist in the preparation of management and/or analysis reports.
